The most vernacular, local afternoon tea in Hainan! Laobacha, which literally means Old Dad’s Tea, is a local food culture similar to the British high tea. The natives, however, have adjusted the menu, adding in Hainan local delicacies and tea variety and thus transforming the Western high tea into Hainan’s distinctive food culture. Typical snacks for Laobacha include fried semame balls, rice noodles, Qingbuliang and various of cakes and breads. I’m Yummy Shanny. Welcome to Hainan and let’s while away the afternoon with Laobacha!
