Andreas Thorud, Director for Chinese Mainland and Hong Kong of Norwegian Seafood Council said in the interview, that China's opening up has been very beneficial for Norwegian seafood. This year Norwegian salmon reached a record level and it’s a very strong year on year growth, which is more than 65% year on year growth in volume coming into the Chinese market. The Norwegian Seafood Council encourages all Norwegian exporters to come and witness the dynamic and exciting Chinese seafood market.
